If that works (test the controller in "Devices and Printers"), carry on. Create a Virtual Joystick with PPjoy and configure the A of the wiimote as button 1 in Glovepie. PPJoy creates a virtual joystick, GlovePie gives the instructions to the virtual joystick (for example, you can set Joystick button 1 = wiimote shake in glovepie, so in a game you select your virtual joystick as your controller and when you shake the wiimote, the game detect this as the button 1). I use my wiimote in PC games with via ppjoy, x360ce and Glovepie via the Toshiba Stack. The process is a little bit more complicated, but not that difficult.

It was very easy in XP, but I couldn't install it on 7. EDIT: it seems that installing PPjoy is a mess in Windows 7.
